The accusations and counter accusations of corruption and even assassinations are not new. The Romans did it. The Roman governors had to make three fortunes by corruption in their provincial assignments. One was for lawyer to defend them in court, the other to pay for expenses they incurred, and the last fortune is to enjoy for themselves. Old story it is true, but we need to better and get something out of this quarrel. The primary duty of government is to protect citizens against oppression and provide him justice in the courts. Then provide the infrastructure to be able to live a decent life. With corruption, these will be hard to provide. Without corruption, we can fulfill these expectations and more.
